DATABYTE’s Chairman awarded with Chairman Value Award

DATABYTE’s Chairman, Kenneth De Martino, has been awarded with the Chairman Value Award. This award is primarily assigned to entrepreneurs who demonstrate integrity, respect and have a squad/team mentality.

Mr De Martino, who is also the Chairman and Founder of the KDM Group of Companies said that it’s an honour for him to be given such an award for his role within DATABYTE, a Maltese Software Company who made its customer centricity one of the drivers so that it builds a strong product portfolio. “This award is DataByte’s award. Over the past 30 years the company has retained innovation at its core and I firmly believe that there is room for growth and success. This is confirmed through the very good interest our company is receiving from new clients as well as entities that seem to be keen to invest and work with us.

Mr Frederick Micallef, Managing Director of DataByte Ltd, expressed his appreciation for the recognition the company received and also for the confidence of Mr De Martino. Micallef said “DataByte is driven by the constant need for change and reinvention is driven by the relentless changes in technology coupled by the constant needs from the ever more demanding clients. Client preferences are becoming more challenging and aim at better efficiency and effectiveness. Reinventing our deliverables also means that we need to ensure our development and support team’s internal competencies are tuned to the newer development and support methodologies.”
Martin Vella, Managing Director of MBR Publications, said that through this award, we give our entrepreneurs the opportunity to recognise their colleagues who are bringing our values to life every day. This is an important way in which we are building our shared culture, founded on our strong commitment to our values, especially innovation
